1991
Clindepharm (Pty) Ltd is founded as the first CRO in South-Africa by Oppel Greeff and Gillian Corken. Based on their success and track record they were acquired by the leading global CRO in 1998. Oppel and Gillian then played a pivotal role in pioneering the CRO industry across Africa, Asia and Latin America.
2000
Triclinium Clinical Trial Project Management (Pty) Ltd is founded by Victor Strugo as a niche African CRO focused primarily on Regulatory and Monitoring services in clinical trials.
2005
An independent health economics research unit is created within The Risk Monitor Group under the leadership of Tienie Stander. Known as heX (Health Econometrix).
2007
Broadening their services to encompass the increasingly important sphere of outcomes research, heX evolves into heXor (Pty) Ltd.
2011
CyteSpace Research (Pvt) Ltd is founded in India by Ferzaan Engineer - a technology-focused site solutions organisation.
2012
CyteSpace Africa (Pty) Ltd is established under the leadership of Gillian Corken to expand the global footprint and diversified service offerings.
2013
Triclinium adds medical advisory and biometric services, enabling an in-house full-service offering for the first time.
PharmaLTx is established as a software development house focusing on eClinical Solutions.
2014
AcquiPharma Holdings acquires Triclinium.
2015
Triclinium rebranded as Triclinium Clinical Development (TCD).
2016
CyteSpace Africa & heXor merge, forming a Late Phase and Outcomes Research organisation.
TCD Global Data Services established in India.
